A few simple principles go a long way toward making your creative perform well on a large outdoor screen:

Keep it simple
Viewers have about 3 seconds. Aim for 7 words or fewer. One clear message, one call to action.
Go big with type
Minimum 72pt equivalent. Bold, high-contrast letterforms. Avoid thin or script fonts — they disappear at distance.
High contrast only
Light text on dark, or dark text on light. Avoid mid-tone combinations — they wash out in direct sunlight.
Honour the safe zone
Keep all key content within the 5% safe margin from each edge to ensure nothing is clipped by the screen bezel.
